GIRL BABY AFGHAN

Here is a little girls baby afghan i whipped up back in January. I've made another one since then but now, since we know we're having boys, I'd better get busy on some baby blue one's! Crochet is my favorite thing to do but, I also love to sew and paint. When I have time , a little wood working also.

PRIMITIVE WOODEN SIGN

Got Crocks, Jugs or Jars? You may like this little sign to go with them! Just a little something for the home decor. I've sold some of these too, I do them in blue, black , and tan. This sign is also on ebay with a tan one. Like I said, I like to make things. Most crafters have more than one project going at a time. Or at least I do and I think my Brittany Jo does to! I love crocks and jars and have a small collection of blue mason jars. And will have a few crocks once we build a house to put them in. But, that may be a while. One never knows though?

PRIMITIVE KITCHEN TOWELS

I've been busy this year, making something all the time! Here's my latest creation i've been working on . I have about four sets of these to finish in different homespun fabric. This set is black and tan checked with an Osnaburg stenciled panel along one edge. I love the primitive look it has with the crows and stars! I love making things and just put this set on ebay. Making more in blue and khaki plaid and whatever else I find in my craft room! These days there's always something to do, you know what I mean, yard work, house work, watering the flowers, but right now I'm in waiting. Waiting for 3 grandsons to arrive!!!!!!!! YES! 3 grandbabies coming all in September and they are all boys. I'm very excited! What a load of fun! The more, the merrier!

Primitive Easter Carrots

I've been working on a few things this winter and have these cute Easter carrots that I made last year and did so well with. Yeah, I decided to make more. I sold over a dozen sets of these last year! I have some on ebay right now and am making more! These cuties are made from a chenile blanket and are painted, dried in the oven, and stemmed with raffia. Carrots measure approx. 15" long and are a large set. Great for a porch decoration or for your table or maybe just to set in a chair. If you would like a set , just contact me by email.

It's Cat Central

Just made some kitty cat bowl fillers and if I can figure out this computer stuff, I'll get a picture on. Whoo Whoo , I did it all by myself. I'm so proud! These are a set of 3 little kitties I made this week and have them on ebay. Been working on primitive candy corn and have some of those on ebay also. These guys have hand stitched faces and are approx. 4" tall. Aren't they cute? Well, since i've figured out how to put pictures on I can start blogging again. And a big HI to Brittany JO.

christmas stockings

I've been busy crocheting and painting a lot these days. Painted a primitive step stool and some stuffed candy canes. Trying to get ready for a county fair, I'm entering a crocheted rug and one of my crocheted Christmas Stockings, and hopefully i'll get a pumpkin man made before the fair. I don't have pictures at the moment and as soon as I can get Brittany Jo to help me I'll get those on for you to see. I make traditional red and green with or without jingle bells and khaki ones with different colored tops with rusty jingle bells for the primitive look. Just staying busy with making items to sell.

This Time of Year

Oh, My Gosh! I have been in the mood to make new items! The yarn and fabric is flying! Last night I made a candy cane pattern and found some muslin, that I bought at a rummage sale for a dollar and It was on! So, this morning , I drew out 8 and stitched and clipped curves and now they're ready to stuff. I've also been working on some crocheted candy canes for the tree. But, still have to get some jumpers cut out for my gingerbread dolls. Right now the mood has hit me to get to work on all the wonderful Holiday items I can make. I love this time of year with fall coming and the upcoming Holiday Season. It puts me in the mood to create. I know most of us gals that craft , usually have multiple items going at one time. When your tired of working on one , you just switch to another one for awhile. Or at least that's how I work. I just love It!
