LONG STOCKING HAT

It's been a busy season for making items! This is one of 6 hats I've made this season! I'm selling these for 20.00 each and plan on making quite a few more this coming year. Just went last night and did some more Christmas shopping! Not quite done yet and am running out of time. But I'm just about to get a grip on it. Now to wrap all I've bought, that's a chore. Maybe I can get one of the daughters to come over and help. I picked up an afghan I started back in the Spring to start back on since I've left it alone for months. I need to get it finished up and start another one for my granddaughter for next Christmas. A busy year awaits me. I love it!

Grandbaby #2 Turkey Hat

Happy Thanksgiving! Little Gavin is ready for the day with his crocheted turkey hat! Isn't this the cutest thing! My daughter made this for him just in time for the big day. I'm up early today to polish off some of those last minute goodies to be made. Grandson , Bryer spent the night and got up with me at 5:00 am. Just had to share this picture.

Primitive Gingerbread yo-yo candle mat

Having a quiet night home alone. Just finished up this candle mat and put it on ebay. Thanksgiving is almost here and I developed a head cold. So, today I've sneezed and blowed my nose all day, let's hope it let's up in the next couple of days! Trying to stay away from the babies. I don't want them sick. Tomorrow is baking day. I've got 4 pies to make and practice some on making hot rolls. I've not mastered the rolls yet. Got a new mixer to see if that helps?

Primitive Homespun Christmas candle mat

This candle mat is a yo-yo Christmas homespun primitive. Mat measures approx. 7 1/2" across. Great little accent piece for the primitive decor! I sell all my mats for 5.00 apiece. And currently have this one on ebay. I've sold over 70 of these little mats, this Fall. Various themes and plaids. If you are interested ,please contact me at csauls1@hotmail.com. I'd be more than happy to take requests.

Holiday candle mat

Here is a new Holiday candle mat, I've finally got finished! This one is a Santa candle mat. Just in time for the Holiday season. Been very busy these days with the 3 new grandbabies! I go to Bloomington, IL two days a week with my middle daughter, and watch the baby while she goes to school. She's going to be an Audiologist and this is her last semester of classroom work. So, I'm trying to help her out because she needs it. And her husband is in the Illinois State Police Academy and only gets to come home on the weekends. But just two and a half more months of that left. Then when I'm not there, I work part-time as a rural carrier and have picked up a couple of Saturdays this month so far. Wow! It's a busy time with Thanksgiving coming up, Christmas shopping, Shotgun deer season, babies coming to visit , and just normal stuff to do. But I'm trying to get in a few projects in between everything.

PRIMITIVE WOODEN SIGN

Got Crocks, Jugs or Jars? You may like this little sign to go with them! Just a little something for the home decor. I've sold some of these too, I do them in blue, black , and tan. This sign is also on ebay with a tan one. Like I said, I like to make things. Most crafters have more than one project going at a time. Or at least I do and I think my Brittany Jo does to! I love crocks and jars and have a small collection of blue mason jars. And will have a few crocks once we build a house to put them in. But, that may be a while. One never knows though?

PRIMITIVE KITCHEN TOWELS

I've been busy this year, making something all the time! Here's my latest creation i've been working on . I have about four sets of these to finish in different homespun fabric. This set is black and tan checked with an Osnaburg stenciled panel along one edge. I love the primitive look it has with the crows and stars! I love making things and just put this set on ebay. Making more in blue and khaki plaid and whatever else I find in my craft room! These days there's always something to do, you know what I mean, yard work, house work, watering the flowers, but right now I'm in waiting. Waiting for 3 grandsons to arrive!!!!!!!! YES! 3 grandbabies coming all in September and they are all boys. I'm very excited! What a load of fun! The more, the merrier!

Primitive Easter Carrots

I've been working on a few things this winter and have these cute Easter carrots that I made last year and did so well with. Yeah, I decided to make more. I sold over a dozen sets of these last year! I have some on ebay right now and am making more! These cuties are made from a chenile blanket and are painted, dried in the oven, and stemmed with raffia. Carrots measure approx. 15" long and are a large set. Great for a porch decoration or for your table or maybe just to set in a chair. If you would like a set , just contact me by email.
